What to Expect with Our Stinging Insect Treatment
At Affinity, we prioritize your safety and peace of mind by providing thorough, professional stinging insect treatment. Here’s what you can expect during the process:
- Initial Consultation: We’ll ask key questions to understand your situation, such as where you’ve seen activity, whether there’s a visible nest, and what it looks like (e.g., round, enclosed).
- On-Time Technician Arrival: Our expert technician will arrive promptly, equipped to handle the situation. Depending on the type of stinging insect, a protective bee suit may be required.
- Clear Communication: Before beginning treatment, we’ll explain our plan, discuss what to expect afterward, and ensure all your questions are answered.
- Thorough Treatment: We target active areas and apply the safest, most effective treatment. Where possible, we’ll remove the nest to prevent future activity, depending on its accessibility.
- Post-Treatment Activity: It’s normal to see some insect activity for 3–7 days after treatment as the treatment takes effect. Rest assured, this is part of the process.
- Free Re-Service If Needed: If you continue to see significant activity after this period, just give us a call. We’ll schedule a free re-service to address any remaining concerns.
With Affinity, you can trust that we’ll handle stinging insects with care and expertise, ensuring your home is safe and protected.
Safe and Effective Wasp Nest Removal
At Affinity, we prioritize removing stinging insect nests whenever possible with the goal of eliminating the source of the problem and preventing future infestations. Nests that are accessible and safely reachable, such as those on low eaves, fences, or open structures, can often be removed completely. However, factors like the nest’s size, location, and attachment method may impact our ability to remove it. For example, nests in high, hard-to-reach areas or within enclosed spaces may require alternative solutions. In every situation, we’ll assess the nest, discuss your options, and take the safest and most effective approach to resolve the issue.
